Capital One is looking for a Head of HR Business Partnering to join our fast paced and collaborative HR function. As the Head of HRBP, you will lead the HRBP team, translating business needs and objectives into wider people initiatives and talent strategies. You’ll influence the business through navigating in an ever changing environment.

Reporting into the Director of HR - People Strategy and Partnering, you will be a strategic advisor to the business, inclusive of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives and Learning, Talent and Development planning. Serve as a strategic consultant, providing workforce planning and delivering a HR strategy aligned with business imperatives. Build effective, collaborative partnerships with the business, serving as a coach, challenger, and 'uncomfortable companion.'.

Champion organisational development, actively driving change initiatives to enable business growth and success. Cultivate a culture of belonging, diversity, and inclusion within teams, encouraging high performance and collaboration. Drive effective planning and execution of HR initiatives including performance and talent management, leadership development, change management, and organisational design.

Lead and contribute to cross-functional, enterprise-wide HR projects and initiatives, ensuring global consistency where appropriate. This is a permanent position based in our London or Nottingham office with a hybrid working model. You’ll be based in our London or Nottingham office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • Significant experience of partnering with senior stakeholders within a complex, matrix environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams, engage stakeholders effectively, facilitating the successful leadership of complex change management initiatives
  • Demonstrated success in managing, coaching, and developing a team of high-performing HR Business Partners
  • Establishes strong relationships to effectively navigate and solve problems within a highly complex environment
  • Experience in designing and delivering on key strategic projects in support of the overall organisational goals (ex. Succession planning, Organisation design, Compensation)
  • Ability to manipulate data, show insight, provide recommendations and progress change
  • Confidence navigating in a complex matrix organisation, and able to partner and consult with a diverse mix of clients across the enterprise
  • Ability to provide counsel and execute hands-on tasks while effectively leading others through uncertain, and demanding situations, demonstrating a high degree of resilience
