We’re seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to join our BNY Investments team based in London.

In this role, manage assets independently within investment policy guidelines to achieve investment objectives. Implement investment strategies consistent with client financial goals, risk tolerance, and applicable regulations. Supervise a small team while evaluating investment performance and making timely portfolio changes.

Work with research, strategy team members and other portfolio teams to execute complex funds and strategies. Meet with clients and new business prospects to communicate investment strategy, discuss market performance and current conditions. Analyze client risk levels based on time, preferences, expectations and market conditions.

Contribute to team profitability by assuring retention and expansion of client relationships through superior investment performance and services. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred
  • Demonstrable investment experience
  • Leadership experience is desired
  • CFA or MBA required
  • Experience in fixed income, equities and ETFs is desired

Responsibilities

  • Work with research, strategy team members and other members of the portfolio teams

  • Independently implement investment strategies for more complex funds/strategies consistent with client financial goals and risk tolerance
  • Evaluate the performance of investments and make timely changes to a portfolio to meet investment objectives or allocation guidelines
  • Analyze and determine client's appropriate level of risk based on time, preferences, expectations, and market conditions
