About this role

Sharegain built a platform empowering online brokers, private banks, and wealth managers to offer securities lending via SLaaS, a fully digital end-to-end solution. We seek a hands-on, technically oriented HR Business Partner for our London office. You will own HR processes across UK and US operations while acting as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees.

In this role, partner closely with business leaders on people matters, manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to retention, and lead recruitment end-to-end. Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and use data for insights as the business scales globally. Champion inclusion and resolve employee relations fairly and compliantly.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a Business Partner or similar generalist role
  • Experience working in a tech or FinTech company strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth scale-up or technology environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience managing complex ER cases end-to-end; familiarity with New York State employment law a plus
  • Hands-on experience with performance management frameworks, talent reviews, and development planning
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and employees

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to provide expert HR advisory support, coaching, and guidance on all people matters
  • Own the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, career development, succession planning, and retention
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across UK and US, defining role requirements, running structured interviews, and ensuring high-quality candidate experience
  • Lead organizational design efforts and workforce planning as the business scales across UK, US, and globally
  • Champion inclusion, diversity, and equity as a culture ambassador fostering belonging
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters in a timely, fair, and legally compliant manner
  • Collaborate with the wider People team on compensation reviews, learning & development, and HR policy updates
  • Use people data and metrics to generate insights and drive continuous improvement in HR processes and employee experience
