About this role

Consultants will either lead or be part of the platform implementation and consulting team for Capital Markets and Investment Management Platforms. Contributions include defining client requirements, configuring applications to business and technical needs. Ensure solutions from vendors like Charles River IM meet requirements with client ownership post go-live.

Take full ownership of workstreams or modules such as Front office including Manager workbench, trading, operations and compliance. Discuss, describe and document exact client requirements then configure software systems to match. Understand client processes and suggest workflow changes for specific needs.

Plan and execute third-party data and analytics integrations with APIs for vendors like MSCI, Bloomberg and Axioma. Configure end-to-end trade and order management including broker mapping and markets. Assist team members within or outside assigned modules to promote best practices.

Maintain positive rapport with client representatives, schedule regular project meetings to update progress and resolve issues. Contribute to training end users on software applications and guide best practices. Provide user feedback to core product team and keep abreast of financial technological developments.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in database querying with SQL, run analytics, identifying errors and recommend edits or debugs to the code
  • 5 years or more hands-on experience in financial industry with demonstrable expertise across Front, middle and back-office operations of investment management or asset management systems
  • Working knowledge of CRIMS or similar market leading investment management systems like Thinkfolio, Aladdin
  • Full understanding of business processes and supporting technological systems associated with pre-trade and post-trade workflows
  • Complete knowledge of trade life cycle with additional expertise in Investment Book of Records or Trade reconciliation as an advantage
  • Exposure to equity, fixed income, derivatives and OTC trading venues

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the implementation of workstreams or modules assigned like Front office modules including Manager workbench, trading, operations and compliance
  • Discuss, describe and document the exact requirements from client and configure the software systems to exactly match the requirement
  • Understand the client-side process and suggest changes to workflows on software systems to accommodate client specific requirements
  • Plan and execute third-party data, analytics integration including set-up APIs for vendors like MSCI, Bloomberg and Axioma
  • Configure the end-to-end trade and order management workflow including broker mapping, markets and other supporting set-up
  • Configure regulatory compliance requirements across various asset classes and trading
  • Set up workflows to comply with internal risk and compliance requirements
  • Maintain positive rapport with client representatives, schedule and conduct regular project meetings
