As a Senior Corporate Solicitor, be pragmatic and diligent to evaluate complex situations under time constraints. Advise a varied client base of owner-managed and entrepreneurial businesses on corporate transactional matters, company matters, commercial matters, and non-contentious employment law.

Work within a growing and dynamic team, collaborating with others while taking responsibility independently. Engage confidently with clients and team members in this adaptable, versatile role beyond desk-bound work.

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with 3 or more years’ experience in corporate matters
  • Commercial and pragmatic outlook with strong desire to be successful
  • Ability to manage transactions independently
  • Excellent legal technical skills
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for attention to detail
  • Substantial experience leading and advising on corporate sales and acquisitions
  • Specialist experience in M&A, shareholders’ agreements, company re-structures, private equity transactions and investments
  • Understanding of business drivers affecting, and legal, regulatory and business risks of owner managed businesses

Responsibilities

  • Advise on corporate transactional matters including business sales, acquisitions, restructures and MBOs
  • Handle company matters such as shareholders agreements, company secretarial matters and EMIs
  • Manage commercial matters involving commercial contracts, intellectual property and GDPR
  • Deal with non-contentious employment law matters like employment contracts, service agreements and settlement agreements
  • Evaluate complex situations in the face of time constraints
  • Liaise with clients and team members with confidence and composure
  • Lead and advise on corporate sales and acquisitions
  • Support the team and guide junior members
