Novo Holdings Growth Investments is seeking an Associate to join its dynamic Growth Investments team in London. Contribute to identification, origination, evaluation, diligence, and negotiation of new investments as well as asset management within the growing portfolio. Evaluate new investment opportunities and synthesize findings in PowerPoint presentations, Word memos, and Excel models. Prepare internal investment documentation for governing bodies like the Investment Committee.

Manage projects by leading scoping and timing of due diligence streams including commercial, financial, legal, IT, and operational aspects. Create Excel models for bottom-up operational forecasting, valuation, and capital structure. Leverage knowledge of broader Novo Holdings team and collaborate across departments and locations.

Expand industry expertise through desktop research, external meetings, expert calls, conferences, and advisors. Committed to developing internal talent with track record of promotion to senior levels. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution
2+ years at a top investment bank, leading consultancy, or leading investment organization
Strong financial modeling skill set
Interest in life sciences
Independent, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and resourceful
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build good relationships, and works well in teams
High attention to detail
Ambitious, proactive, and structured approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

Evaluate new investment opportunities and synthesize findings in PowerPoint presentations, Word memos, and Excel models for internal discussions
Prepare internal investment documentation in PowerPoint presentations, Word memos, and Excel models for governing bodies
Manage projects by leading scoping and timing of due diligence streams related to investment projects and portfolio companies
Create Excel models to assess new and current investments, including bottom-up operational forecasting, valuation models, and capital structure models
Continuously expand industry expertise through desktop research, external meetings, expert calls, external advisors, and conferences
Leverage knowledge and capabilities of broader Novo Holdings team and collaborate with other departments and colleagues on investment projects
