About this role
As a Portfolio Manager Associate, you will support the EMAP GEM Core team by conducting country and industry analysis. Generate trading ideas and contribute to day-to-day portfolio management for long/short equity strategies. This role focuses on emerging trends and actionable insights in financial markets.
Day-to-day involves supporting the execution, monitoring, and risk management of short positions within long/short equity portfolios. Synthesize internal and external fundamental and quantitative research to form evidence-based investment views. Produce risk, performance, and attribution analyses as needed.
Drive automation and workflow improvements using Python and large language models (LLMs). Collaborate extensively with fundamental research, quantitative research, and technology teams. Prepare presentation materials and communicate key messages to stakeholders.
